Between cellar and kitchen

Bénédicte Kaempffer × 2Naturkinder – A Vegetarian 5-Course Menu with Wine Pairing
Every now and then we turn the main hall of the winery into a dining space – the old room where horses once rested after hauling barrels through town, now the heart of our harvest dinners. Candles, tablecloths, and music transform the space, while the cellar beneath our feet may let a surprise bottle find its way to the table.
This October we celebrate the harvest – a time of gratitude, of closing one season and opening the next. The menu is shaped by vegetables and fruit at their peak, sourced from organic growers and farmers we work with in our region.
This October, the kitchen belongs to Bénédicte Kaempffer.
She has worked in Michelin-starred restaurants such as Aubergine in Starnberg, refined classical Nordic techniques as Sous Chef at Tertin Kartano in Finland, and most recently served as Chef de Cuisine at Restaurant Müllerslust in Hohenpähl. During this year’s harvest she cooked daily for our crew, carrying us through long vineyard days, and has since become a close friend of the winery. Now she returns to Kitzingen with a five-course vegetarian menu paired with our wines.
Her cooking tells stories of travels, encounters, and roots. Vegetables and fruit are her palette – clarity, surprise, textures and temperatures woven into a journey with space for the unexpected.
