How we made it
One of the few vineyards we actually own is situated in Rödelsee, 15 minutes away from the winery. It’s in the middle section of the hill (called Schwanberg) with a gentle slope and an extraordinary soil.
The bunches were destemmed and the grapes fermented for one week before being pressed and put into a stainless steel tank. The wine wasn’t racked before being bottled in March 2020.
While the 2016 vintage got featured by Kourtney Kardashian, the 2018 got a lovely mention in the New York Times by Eric Asimov.
