2017 Vater & Sohn Silvaner

How we made it

The grapes for this wine come from a small growing area close to our town. The vineyard has been farmed organically for more than 20 years and it was the first year we got our hands on those grapes. Like all Silvaner grapes these too had to sit on the skins over night before being pressed, sedimented and pumped to one of our big old oak barrels. The wine was racked two days before bottling, roughly filtered and bottled with the addition of 2mg/l SO2.
