2013 Große Wanderlust

2013 Große Wanderlust

How we made it

Our first red was harvested in September 2013 and bottled in February 2015. The variety is called Regent and the vines grow in our organic vineyard in Sulzfeld (just a few kilometers away from our winery) on shell limestone. Only the healthiest grapes were crushed and fermented on the skins for 20 days, gently pressed and the juice filled in a ten year old barrique. Then it was time for the wine to slowly develop in a chilly corner of our 120 years old cellar. Finally we put the wine in a steel tank the day before bottling which was done manually on February 7th 2015.
